Principal Attorney

Ernest earned his J.D. degree from St. John’s University, Master of Public Administration from City University of New York at Baruch College and his bachelor’s degree in Political Science with Honors from City University of New York at Queens College. He was the recipient of Ron H Brown Academic Merit Scholarship, and recipient of Cali Award in Employment Discrimination. The National Black Lawyers Association recognized Ernest as top 40 attorneys under 40 in 2017. In 2018, Ernest was recognized as a rising star attorney by the American Institute of Legal Advocates. Ernest has also been recognized as a Rising Star by SuperLawyers in 2020. Ernest's passion for justice for his clients is what makes him an excellent lawyer.

Ernest completed Externship with the United States Department of Labor Office of the Solicitor, he was law Clerk at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services, and Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Alison Krehbiel in the 5th District Court of Minnesota in St. Peter, MN. He was Pro Bono Fellow at Howrey LLP and Certified Student Attorney while in Law School. Ernest volunteered for Advocate for Human Rights. Ernest is a Pro Bono Attorney at Immigrant Law Center, and Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid; where he works on immigration cases. Ernest represents clients pursuing relief before the Immigration Court. He also handles adjustment of status (green card), naturalization, U-visa, Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA), I-9, I-130, Asylum and Removal Defense, Diversity Visa, employer base immigration, employment law matters, family and criminal law matters.
